Please take a moment to read our Terms and Conditions before booking your holiday with Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft Retreat. It will detail our commitment and responsibilities to you, the client, and provide you with a clear understanding of your obligations to us.
We ask you to accept the terms below upon booking and as such agree to be bound by them.

1. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that you and/or your party arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy. This must include cancellation, medical, repatriation and personal cover. When you purchase your insurance you must be certain that the policy meets your individual and/or group needs. Attention should be paid to any activities you may wish to undertake during your stay and any specific health requirements.
Whilst Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft Retreat will make every effort to ensure that your personal belongings are secure, we cannot guarantee security, therefore your insurance should also fully cover your and/or your party’s personal belongings.
We will do our best to resell your holiday if you are unfortunate enough to have to cancel. If your cancellation is uninsurable and we can resell your holiday, we will make a refund minus any costs incurred during the booking process by Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft Retreats. If we cannot resell a non-insurable holiday cancellation, Sweet Nothings Arts and Crafts Retreats will charge you as outlined in section number 6 below.
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your holiday, please refer to number 2 below.

2. Bookings/Reservations
Please book using our online system via our Website (www.sweetnothings.eu), or via e-mail to nsweetnat@aol.com. A non-refundable deposit will be required at the time of booking. Where group bookings are concerned, all payments are to be made by the party leader. The party leader accepts responsibility for, and guarantees all payments due to Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft Retreat from the group. Deposits for group bookings are to be paid in a single transaction. A confirmation will be sent via email when your booking and deposit has been received by us.
If your workshop needs to be cancelled for any reason, Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft Retreat will offer one of the following options:
• An offer of a similar workshop and any monies paid to Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft Retreat will be put towards the cost of that similar workshop.
• A full refund of any monies paid to Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft Retreat for the cancelled workshop.
• A full board holiday at Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft Retreat with outings during the cancelled workshop dates, plus a refund of your teaching costs. The outings will be arranged as per the cancelled workshop.
NB Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft Retreat is not responsible for the refund of any travel costs (for example, flights, ferry bookings, train fares) incurred in the event of cancellation of a residential workshop for any reason.

3. Prices
Prices quoted on our website or in our publicity and promotional materials are correct at the time of publication. In the event of any price changes to those quoted we will notify you before accepting your booking.
Whilst we reserve the right to change our prices your confirmation letter price is fully guaranteed and will not be subject to change.

4. Payments
A non refundable deposit of €240 per person is payable at the time of booking. Deposit payments must be 'cleared funds' before a booking can be confirmed. Deposits are only refundable under the conditions set-out here within.
All payments should be made online through PayPal at www.sweetnothings.eu or via bank transfer. Group leaders should make all payments for their group via bank transfer, and advise Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft Retreat of payments via email at nsweetnat@aol.com Any charges raised against us by our banks for handling bank transfers or any other payments, must be reimbursed by the lead guest within seven (7) days of any request to do so.
The balance of your holiday will be paid 8 weeks prior to its start date. If full payment is not received by this date, Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft Retreat will treat your booking as cancelled.

5. Amendments by You
If you wish to make amendments to your booking after the contract is formed, we will do our best to arrange this. Please make sure that any changes in circumstance are communicated to us at the earliest opportunity.

6. Cancellation by You
If you wish to cancel your holiday at any time, you must do so in writing or email to nsweetnat@aol.com. You will then receive an acknowledgement of your cancellation. If you are unfortunate enough to have to cancel your holiday within 8 weeks of the commencement of the course, you will incur the following charges (applied from the receipt of the cancellation letter or email)
Cancellation more than 8 weeks before departure will result in loss of deposit unless we can re-sell the holiday.
Cancellation 6-8 weeks before the start date will result in loss of 50% of the cost of the holiday.
Cancellation 4-6 weeks before the start date will result in loss of 75% of the cost of the holiday.
Cancellation less than 4 weeks before the start date will result in the loss of 100% of the cost of the holiday.
We reserve the right to re-sell any part of a cancelled holiday and this does not affect our right to levy the cancellation fees.

7. Amendments by Sweet Nothings
Occasionally Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft Retreat will need to make minor changes to your holiday schedule. This could be due to seasonal changes and outings suitability, or weather conditions. We reserve the right to make these changes and will always inform you as soon as we can of any changes we need to make. In the event of a major change to your workshop, we will offer you a choice of agreeing to the changes and continuing with your holiday, or cancelling and receiving a full refund of monies paid.

8. The Workshop Retreat
Please listen carefully to and follow instructions given to you by your Tutor. The teaching of your workshop has been put together with careful consideration given to your health and safety. Upon booking, you must make Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft Retreat aware of any condition you have which could impact on your or others enjoyment of the holiday. This includes medical conditions and any specific dietary requirements. Any information you share with us will be kept in the strictest confidence.

9. Promotional Material
Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft Retreat reserves the right to use any likeness or image of you or your work secured or taken on any of our holidays without charge in all media for bona fide promotional or marketing purposes, including without limitation promotional materials of any kind, such as brochures, flyers and the internet. Should you not wish to have images of you or your work used in this way, you should let us know and be mindful of when photos are being taken during your workshop.

10. Behaviour
All guests agree to respect the privacy and peace of all other staying guests, neighbours and the owners at all times. We reserve the right to cancel a booking with immediate effect and without compensation if guests are not honouring this agreement or causing a disturbance / nuisance to other guests, neighbours or the owners

11. WiFi Fair & Appropriate Usage Policy
Where WiFi Internet access is provided, guests accept to use this access to the Internet fairly and appropriately. We may monitor network performance and user usage in order to maintain a fair and high level of service to all our guests.
The Internet access provided is intended for general use such as access to the world wide web, email, messaging, social media, light video / music / media streaming. It is not intended or ideally suited for heavy media streaming, online gaming, extensive downloads / uploads. Access to illegal activity or use of our network for illegal activity is not prohibited and will be reported to local authorities.

12. Damages & Lost Property
We reserve the right to charge the lead guest for any damages caused through the course of a booking by any member of the booking party. This includes breakages, spillages, stains, damage to furniture or fixtures and fittings. Any accidental damages should be reported as soon as possible in order to minimise damage and associated costs.
Any lost property, if discovered and found, left behind by guests during a stay will be held for a period of 1 month. While we will make our best efforts to reunite lost property with their owners we accept no responsibility in replacing lost items and encourage guests to ensure they have all their belongings before leaving. We may offer to post lost items via recorded delivery at the cost of the property owner, otherwise collection can be arranged.

13. Smoking
Smoking of any tobacco products including, but not limited to cigarettes, pipes, cigars, snuff or chewing tobacco, is only allowed in designated areas outside. As the outside areas are very dry in the summer, guests are responsible for making sure that smoking products are extinguished in ashtrays provided and not discarded on the floor.

14. Garden and Swimming Pool
The use of the accommodation and amenities such as the garden and swimming pool is entirely at the guest’s risk and no responsibility can be accepted by Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft retreat for any injury or loss or damage to the guest or his/her belongings. The swimming pool is unsupervised. Children MUST be supervised when using the swimming pool at all times. Please remember this is a rural area and that Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft Retreat cannot be held responsible for any indigenous animals or insects that may be present. As domestic animals can be unpredictable, guests are not to enter the paddock area or chicken run unless permission is given.

15. Complaints
If you have a complaint or problem with your holiday we would ask you to discuss this with us whilst you are here, in the first instance, and we will try to resolve any problems immediately.

16. Services provided by Third Parties
Bookings for extra services such as taxis or other activities made on your behalf by Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft Retreat are subject to the terms and conditions laid down by the service provider. Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft Retreat does not warrant the standard of performance of any additional services. You take full responsibility for satisfying yourself in advance as to the quality and provider ability to deliver the services and will address any complaints about the extra services with the respective provider(s) directly.

17. Passports, Visas and Health Requirements
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of a valid passport and all necessary travel and health documents before departure.

18. Pets & Service Dogs
We do not accept pets throughout the accommodation, except for service dogs.

19. Parking
Where on-site parking is provided guests accept that they park their vehicles at their own risk.

20. Website Content
Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft Retreat makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information contained on our website and in any publicity material we write. However, content is subject to change from time to time. Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft Retreat will endeavour to notify you of any changes known to us affecting your holiday prior to issuing you with our booking confirmation.
Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft Retreat is not responsible for the content, policies and services of any sites linked to or accessible via our website.

21. Limitation of Liability
Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft Retreat accepts responsibility for the services we have contracted to provide. If you suffer personal injury or death from any activity which is not part of your holiday booked with us, but occurs during the holiday we will not be liable for any compensation. Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft Retreat accepts no responsibility for the acts or omissions of its clients whether negligent or otherwise and shall not be held liable for any claims made against its clients either by other clients of Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft Retreat or third parties.

22. Our Right To Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel any booking without compensation, refund or reimbursement if the terms of these conditions are breached.

23. Privacy Policy
Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft Retreat are committed to respecting your privacy. We do not sell or disclose to third parties the information you provide to us. We use your contact information to provide to you related Sweet Nothings Arts and Craft Retreat information, or to book your holiday arrangements. If at any point you wish to have your name removed from our database, please contact us via our contacts form.
