Due to the Covid-19 pandemic all of our residential workshops for 2020 have been cancelled.
However, we are pleased to announce that we are able to run a number of Day Workshops throughout Autumn 2020.

8th September - Make a basic Cushion Cover. A beginner’s introduction to machine stitching, plus exploring what your machine can do and care of your machine.
15th September - Natural and Eco dyeing. Learn how to use kitchen throwaway items such as vegetable skins and plant roots to dye fabric and paper.
22nd September - Eco Printing with Leaves. Natures very own Alchemy! This workshop will serve as an introduction to printing with leaves onto natural fabrics such as cotton, linen, silk and paper.
29th September - Make a simple Tote Bag. We all need a good tote bag, whether for the shops or the beach, you can personalise yours using stitch, appliqué or just by using your favourite fabrics! A great idea for a present!
6th October - Make a Patchwork Cushion. This cushion cover will serve as a beginner’s patchwork workshop, with a lovely item for your home. You will learn basic cutting, stitching, pressing and buttonhole techniques during the day.
20th October - Kitty Cat Doorstop. Try your hand at a 3D project. This cute doorstop is a practical project. You can adorn your doorstop how you wish; plain or ornate, it’s up to you. You could even use your eco-dyed fabric for this!
26th and 27th October - Christmas Table Runner. Get ready for decorating your house with plenty of time to spare with this pretty table runner. You will learn how to use thin wadding and quilt the runner with basic techniques.
2nd and 3rd November - Lap / Cot Quilt for beginners. Basic patchwork lap or cot quilt using squares. You will learn the basics of quilting and produce a beautiful project which you could keep or give as a present.
9th November - Christmas Stocking and Gingerbread Men Bunting – lined, machine stitched stocking to hang up on the fireplace for Santa, plus felt gingerbread men bunting.
16th November - Scrappy Notebook Diaries – something for you! Get arty and record ideas and memories daily using these enchanting handmade note books using stitch, line, paint and found scraps.
23rd November - Homemade Soap – choose a scent and a base soap and customise 2 different types of soap. You will have 6 small soaps to take home for personal use. You may want to take advantage of designing and preparing the wrapping whilst the soaps are setting.
30th November - Hot Water Bottle Cover. Washable Fleecy cover, with winter themed applique, chosen from several designs.

Workshops run from 10:00 – 16:00 and cost €35, or €30 without lunch
